The Good: Overall, I am happy with this patio gazebo. The size is exactly as advertised, and the quality is decent for the price point. Once it’s fully put together, it looks good and feels sturdy enough for what you pay. The Bad (The Assembly): Getting it set up was a major headache. About 90% of the pieces were completely unlabeled, making it extremely difficult to figure out how they connected. While the instruction manual was somewhat helpful, the illustrations were unclear and very hard to read. This made the entire assembly process take much longer than it should have. For some reason I thought this would be more of a pop-up style tent. It was hard to put together at first because we never did it before. It will be way easier next time since we know what we are doing now. The first part you put together is the canopy part. To make things easier for people just know the little arrows on the bars point down and out. It was on directions but the little picture was hard to see with my eyes. Once we got that part it was easier. With the steaks and everything down it will be stable and not fly away. Make sure you put the canopy cloth part on before you put the legs on. Setting up this pop-up shade tent is as easy as opening an umbrella—simply extend the frame, unfold the canopy, and lock it into place. Equipped with the included sandbags and guy lines, it comfortably accommodates 10 to 12 people along with tables and chairs, making it perfect for parties, camping trips, market stalls, and beach outings.

Since this pop up shelter was advertised as being so easy one person could do it, I decided to test that out. First, wrangling it out of the case was a bit of a challenge but once I did that, I did notice the unit itself is somewhat lighter than older canopies I’ve tried. The instructions were not overly helpful but the concepts were not hard to figure out. It was generally the same as most I’ve tried except for how you raise it. First the center pole lifts up and connects, assuming you can squat down underneath after raising the legs. While getting the legs to spread was not much different from others and a little awkward with just 1 person, this feature did make it so I could lift it myself. The legs raised easily too. The hook in the center for a light is handy, as are the walls with windows. If I could deduct 12 star for the paltry instructions I would. Great frame for this pop-up tent. I have concerns with the quality of the canopy and side walls. The stitching on the canopy doesn't appear like it will hold over for years of use. It looks like it is about to split apart in several sections. The side walls do not look like the ones in the pictures. The side walls are thin and you feel like you can see right through them. I had trouble getting the side walls to line up properly with each other, when I had the frame at the tallest setting.
